- Identify sustainable work practice
- Relevant personnel are consulted to ensure work is coordinated effectively with others
- Materials required for the work are obtained and checked in accordance with workplace procedures and compliance with work requirements
- Location that activities are to be undertaken is determined from job requirements
- Workplace environmental risks and resource efficiency issues are identified
- Apply sustainable work practice
- Energy assessment is undertaken in accordance with requirements to implement techniques which produce energy reduction directly or indirectly
- Approval is obtained for suggested improvements to energy efficient methods and components from relevant person/s before any contingencies are implemented
- Unplanned events or conditions are responded to in accordance with workplace procedures in a manner that minimises risk to personnel, equipment and environment
- On-going checks of the quality of the work are undertaken in accordance with established procedures
- Work is carried out efficiently without unnecessary waste of materials or damage to the surrounding environment while using sustainable work practices which minimise wastage of energy and materials either directly or indirectly
- Complete workplace documentation
- Suggestions are made to relevant person/s for improvement/s to workplace practices to minimise energy and materials wastage
- Workplace documentation is completed in accordance with workplace procedures
